This collection includes the plays Two Sisters A Piano Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams A Bicycle Country Lorca in a Green Dress and Capricho I was recommended to Lorca in a Green Dress but A Bicycle Country has ended up being my favorite play of Nilo Cruz's so far It was an interesting experience reading his plays back to back He has a very distinct voice but each story was completely different from the next Two Sisters A Piano tells the story of two sisters Maria Celia and Sofia who are living under house arrest in Cuba in 1991 Maria Celia takes comfort in writing letters to her husband who is abroad while Sofia plays the broken down family piano and listens in on their neighbor who she believes to be comforted by her music Their life becomes complicated when Maria Celia begins an affair with Lieutenant Portuondo who has been assisgned to inspect them in order to receive correspondence from her husbandIn Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams a brother and sister return to Cuba from the United States to find each other after being separated at a young age Avoiding their reunion the sister Luciana finds herself at the Museum of Dreams The Museum of Dreams is a place where Hortensia and her two sons collect miracles Meanwhile the brother Luca begins an affair with Delita What they go through eventually brings the siblings back together Maisie Dobbs (Maisie Dobbs ended up being my favorite play of Nilo Cruz's so far It was an interesting The Lost Predator (Primeval, experience reading his plays back to back He has a very distinct voice but Million Dollar Marriage (Million Dollar, each story was completely different from the next Two Sisters A Piano tells the story of two sisters Maria Celia and Sofia who are living under house arrest in Cuba in 1991 Maria Celia takes comfort in writing letters to her husband who is abroad while Sofia plays the broken down family piano and listens in on their neighbor who she believes to be comforted by her music Their life becomes complicated when Maria Celia begins an affair with Lieutenant Portuondo who has been assisgned to inspect them in order to receive correspondence from her husbandIn Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams a brother and sister return to Cuba from the United States to find The Long Year, A.D. 69 each other after being separated at a young age Avoiding their reunion the sister Luciana finds herself at the Museum of Dreams The Museum of Dreams is a place where Hortensia and her two sons collect miracles Meanwhile the brother Luca begins an affair with Delita What they go through Troy High eventually brings the siblings back together
