Single User KVM Switches
We offer a range of single user switches that allow one workstation to control one of up to 1000s of attached computers. Computers are connected to the switch wth cables, either traditional coax style or increasingly by CAT5 cables. The CAT5 cables connect to the computers' video, keyboard and mouse ports using adaptors that are described as RICC's, CIM's or Dongles by he varius manufacturers.

Uses CAT5 UTP cabling to connect to servers via a convertor module
(CIM) and uses CAT5 UTP to connect to users via User Modules. Recommended
where users are spread over many locations and where CAT5 cabling
is the preffered cabling solution. |
Serial Console Port
switches
If your systems use a serial console interface you can either use a Rose UltraView or UltraMatrix with the multi-platform option or use a dedicated serial console port switch. A console port switch will only interface with serial devices and will allow a console or a remote softaware session to operate many serial devices.

Rack Mount TFT Screens
Rack mount TFT screens are a useful space saver in cabinets. When combined with keyboard and mouse pad into a compact 1U drawer they offer maximum space savings, convenience and reduced heat output. The rackmount panels can be mounted in cabinets and on the back frame of a Sigma Network Rack to create a CCTV or systems monitoring station.

KVM and Serial Extenders
If you dont want to work next to your computers, you can relocate the keyboard monitor and mouse to where you want them and connect back to the computer or switch via CAT5 UTP cable or fibre optic cable. These extenders can also be used to extend audio and serial signals over extended distances.

Power Strips

Environmental Control
and Monitoring
Servers are vulnerable to high temperature, floods and tampering. You can monitor all three from your desktop or be alerted via sms messaging once acceptable levels are passed. Prevention is cheaper and easier than the cure!
